Thin Film Evaporator Systems 3-Stage Wiped Film Evaporator System provided in two modules with 88, 51 & 88 ft2 316SS WFEs in series, 5-Stage custom vacuum system hot oil and tempered water systems For over 50 years, the Engineered Systems Group has applied the Pfaudler Wiped Film Evaporator in a variety of short path vacuum distillation systems for evaporation of petrochemicals, fats and oils, specialty chemicals, oil recovery, waxes, resins, pharmaceutical compounds, food products and waste solutions. Extensive experience in high-vacuum, thin film evaporation ensures reliable results in systems for continuous processing of heat sensitive solutions, high viscosity liquids and high-boiling compounds. Where the Wiped Film and Fixed Clearance Evaporators operate under high vacuum (1 torr to 1 micron) or high temperature conditions (up to 750°F), our experience in selecting and supplying the proper auxiliary equipment, such as vacuum systems, heating systems and process pumps, ensures that the system will operate continuously and reliably. Systems process wetted materials can be alloy, glass-lined, or plastic-lined. Pfaudler has experienced project and process engineers, CAD designers, vessel engineers, heat exchanger engineers to deliver a functional system on-time and budget.
