Featured Technology: Biodiesel Vacuum Distillation

Two product streams are generated from the production of Biodiesel, one rich in glycerin and the other rich in methyl ethers. Over the past several years Pfaudler has worked with numerous companies to purify both these streams using our evaporative technology. Pfaudler Wiped Film Evaporators have successfully demonstrated the ability to vacuum distill glycerin and the methyl ester fuel into a more refined form with vastly improved color and quality.
