Rental Systems
Pfaudler can offer rental systems when Pilot testing at our Rochester site is not possible or practical for our customers. A glass lined reactor system, thin film evaporator system, and conical dryer blender assembly are available as rentals to potential customers who would like to explore using our equipment at their sites. Pfaudler engineers will work with you to ensure that all required peripherals are available at your site or supplied as part of the rental systems. In addition to our standard design rental systems we can and have custom configured rental systems to meet the process needs specific to our customers. These rental systems can be supplied for temporary installation or on a rent to own basis.
Conical Dryer Blender Assembly
- 2 ft. diameter glassed line conical dryer blender
- Hastelloy C276 vacuum tube assembly with vacuum filter
- Equipped with motor and local variable speed adjustment
- Steam required as the heating medium
- Full stand assembly supplied with bearings
- Utilities required are steam, condensate return, vacuum source, and an external condenser to capture distilled material
30-Gallon Glasteel®
Pilot Plant Reactor System
- 30-Gallon Pfaudler Glasteel® reactor, fin type baffle, tantalum clad rtd, impeller agitator with motor and drive, conventional carbon steel jacket, A.S.M.E. Code Rated at 150 psig / FV @ 500°F internal and 125 psig @ 500°F jacket (suitable for internal viscosities to 15000 cps)
- Glasteel® packed column with PTFE mesh packing and internal supports
- External Glasteel® condenser (jacketed glass lined pipe)
- 30-gallon Glasteel® receiver tank, A.S.M.E. Code Rated at 150psig/FV @ 450F
- Liquid ring vacuum pump for vacuum levels to 100 torr
- Single fluid heating cooling system capable of 500°F operating temperature, requires tie into customer plant central heating medium
- Suitable electronic and local instrumentation
- PLC control system with operator touch screen interface / display. Preprogrammed PLC and interface for control of batch, jacket temperature control, and vacuum control
- All wiring of the motors and instruments is completed to the local control panel
- All of the afore mentioned equipment and interconnecting piping is supplied on a painted structural steel frame
- Estimated dimensions are 108" wide x 60' deep x 230" tall, Group D electrical area
4.2 Sq. Ft. Standard Vacuum Wiped Film Evaporator
- A variety of configurations are available as rental systems
- A stand alone wiped film evaporator mounted on a painted structural frame
- As needed Pfaudler can supply additional peripheral equipment. A vacuum pump, external condenser, process pumps, steam boiler, and instrumentation can be supplied as a more complete system
- The level of instrumentation, equipment and controls vary with the needs of each customers specific needs and application
- Several painted structural steel frames and a stainless steel frame are available and allow for more or less equipment as needed
- Wetted process material of construction would be 316L stainless steel, carbon graphite, Teflon and other elastomer
- Our engineers will work with you to determine what the exact configuration requirements are and how these system can tie into your existing utilities
- A typical rental 4.2 Sq. Ft. wiped film evaporator has a 7 Sq. Ft. internal condenser and is A.S.M.E. Code Rated to 100 PSIG/FV/100 @ 650°F Jacket and 25 PSIG/FV @ 650°F on the inner shell area
