What is a Modular Reactor System?Pfaudler reactor systems are provided as completely assembled modules. Reactor systems include the alloy or glass lined reactor and all ancillary equipment such as columns, condensers, feed systems, product tanks and pumps, vacuum systems, scrubbers, etc. All equipment is mounted on the module with all interconnecting process and utility piping fabricated and installed to tie points at the module edge. All instrumentation is provided, mounted and wired on the module. PLC/HMI control systems are often provided or the system is designed to communicate with an existing plant control system. However, we provide an equal amount of stainless steel systems from industrial systems to sanitary pharmaceutical systems. We also provide systems constructed of glass lined stainless steel for cryogenic applications, PTFE-lined carbon steel, and plastics. Custom DesignEach customer has their own specific process requirements, so every system is custom designed to meet those requirements. Also, every module layout is custom designed to meet the spatial requirements of each customer's process area dimensional requirements.
