Manufacturing Capabilities

Pfaudler operates a 500,000 sq.ft. fully integrated manufacturing facility located in Rochester, NY. Here we employ all the processes necessary to produce corrosion resistant Glasteel® and Alloy Equipment from start to finish as well as any other equipment you may need machined or fabricated. Our equipment and capabilities include the following:

Metal Fabrication

• Roll Forming up to 2 1/2" thick plate by 12' wide
• 600 ton Press Brake
• 500 ton 4 Post Press
• 230 ton Hot Forming Press
• Multiple CNC Shape Cutters
• ASME Code Certified Welding of carbon steel, stainless steel, nickel alloys and reactive metals. Manual and mechanized processes employed
• "Clean Room" facility for fabrication and welding of reactive metals
• Manual and machine surface polishing to Ra 30 finish
• Media Blast Booths w/ 50' x 15 'x 15' capacity
• 320 kVA X-Ray Machine for weld inspection

Machining

• Full capability machine shop including multiple CNC turning, boring and milling machines
• Unique Large Part Capabilities:
  • Horizontal Lathe w/ 98" diameter swing x 32' long
  • CNC VTL w/ 120" swing and live spindle
  • CNC Horizontal Boring Mill w/ 113" travel

Glasteel® Coatings

• Glass coatings manufactured and tested in-house
• Multiple coating stations for vessels and accessories
• Multiple computer controlled furnaces, capable of handling vessels from 1 to 24,000 gallons

Repair

• Ability to completely refurbish tanks and accessories in house

Assembly & Test

• Multiple assembly and test bays with 75 ton crane capacity

Paint

• Modern paint booth for the application of high performance epoxy coatings
