Our field service group was created more than 60 years ago to provide Glassed-Steel and Alloy Equipment users with preventative maintenance support for their Chemical and Pharmaceutical equipment. The Glasteel Parts and Service team combines the greatest concentration of technical expertise and knowledge in the industry, together with the corporate resources of the world's most focused supplier of Glass-Lined and Alloy Equipment. We have strategically located 8 service representatives throughout the USA to best meet our customer's needs. Each service representatives has their own fully equipped van with parts, tools and necessary safety equipment to handle most service requirements. GPS service representatives have an average of 15 years of glass-lined steel experience.

Our Service Representatives are the most qualified to maintain Pfaudler equipment as well as competitors equipment including: Glass-Lined Reactors, Conical Dryer Blenders, Wiped Film Evaporators, Delta Filter Dryers and Pfaudler Drives as well as competitor drives.

  • Non-Metal Repairs including Kwikure Glassed Steel Surface repair

Mixer & Seal Repairs

  • Agitator seal replacement on-site
  • Conversion of "wet" seal to new "dry" cartridge seal
  • Replacement or repair of mixer gearbox on-site

  • A.S.M.E. Code field welding services "R" and "U" stamps
  • Jacket diaphragm replacement
  • Welding of "hole" through in inner vessel and/or jacket

Training and Certification

All GPS service personnel are trained and certified in OSHA 1910 regulations and go through an annual training program including medical testing and re-certification. Topics covered in this training include:

  • Confined space entry
  • Background checks
  • Standby training
  • Hazardous communication
  • Lockout/tagout
  • CPR & first aid training
  • Respirator training & fit testing program
  • Drug screening and physical, including eye & hearing tests
