3D Modeling / CAD Design All systems, from inception to start-up, are accurately designed using 3D AutoCAD™ and AutoCAD™ add-on applications. During the sales phase and Engineering study, customer can be provided with preliminary 3D layouts showing equipment orientation, overall dimensions, maintenance and servicing access, in addition to critical customer tie-in point locations. This preliminary information will provide a good starting point when the project moves forward. The use of 3D modeling can provide useful information to the customer throughout the design phase of the project. Snap shots of the model can be inserted into a Microsoft PowerPoint file and e-mailed to the customer at various critical project milestones through out the project to save time and keep the project moving forward. The 3D model can also be viewed in real time over the internet using one of the various Webcast applications to provide a virtual system tour. Components of the customer's site can be added to the model to show integration of Pfaudler modular system with customer's existing plant structures. The 3D model can also provide useful information during the training and start-up phase of the customer's project. The complete design package will include all process flow diagrams, P&ID's, piping ortho-graphics, pipe line isometrics with BOM's, structural steel layouts and instrumentation loop & electrical one-line diagrams.
